Hello!

My name is Rebekah Josann and I am a Certified Trauma-Informed and Professional Life Coach well trained by Light University associated with the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors). I also am trained in Mental Health Coaching for education and awareness purposes.

I typically work with those who are on the spectrum of neurodivergence including autism, being neurodivergent myself and I also advocate for the disabled and the ones outcasted/discarded in our society.

I am not a counselor, therapist, psychiatrist, or psychologist and cannot administer therapies, diagnose, or give medication.

In 2019 God called me to this work and to start Scripture Prescriptions Ministries. I had no idea how much it would grow in the coming years and what ministry was to come from it. I have had the privilege to affect hundreds of lives through this including elderly, seniors, and those I mentioned.

Over 80% of people on the autism spectrum are unemployed or struggling with finding work they can sustain. Part of this is due to the struggle with executive functioning and other sensory sensitivities we are challenged in. Working in environments neurotypicals (versus neurodivergents) are used to do not often fit the unique needs of those on the spectrum.

Employment is one of the top struggles I see as a coach with my clients. Finding the right fit, educating the company once they try a job, and navigating emotions and social cues are all aspects of employment for spectrum individuals. Turnover is extremely high.

Social and communication interactions mark autism spectrum disorder as a top recognized challenge leading to homelessness and loss of all they have if my clients cannot provide for themselves. We also without support find ourselves in complicated, complex relational and societal situations. MANY families and parents are struggling finding connections with the best support despite all efforts for their loved ones.

My work of advocacy brings the missing pieces of effective communication to the table as a mediator between my client and the local resources, referrals, and professionals we can find. I take a support network approach versus an isolated independence approach that most of our society is expecting. We need a supportive network approach to thrive.

I speak a clarity language that breaks through walls with some of the toughest organizations to communicate with bringing translation among the entities. This helps my client get to the resources they need.

All the while, we are working, in a strategic coaching program, on my client's goals and dreams to collaboratively remove the obstacles and work around pitfalls towards successful outcomes the best we can.

As we work on this aspect together, we simultaneously achieve my client's realistic and quantified dreams, goals, obstacles, mindset blocks, and forward movement to make victorious steps in ways that make sense and respect the neurodivergent brain process.

Success varies with each person and they learn what that means to them. As we bring successful outcomes and meet goals, it improves the overall person's perspective in life.

The most important part of what I do is help my client recover their identities whether it's in marriage coaching, parental/family coaching, or individual coaching. I take a Biblical foundational approach to all my coaching and the Holy Spirit is in EVERY meeting we have together, transforming and healing from the inside. We see miracles occur and God working actively along with us which is remarkable to witness.

I have a unique fee system that I see as an investment due to the incredible gains the client receives. Some of my clients self-pay at various sliding scales according to their employment income if they work.

However, most of my clients are low income, disabled, on SSDI or SSA, and unemployed. For this reason, in order for me to work with them to cover the extensive time involved writing advocacy letters, keeping up with email and phone conversations, maintain meetings regularly, and continue to work as a missionary and advocate, we cannot keep this work up without YOUR support.

I currently have a sponsorship model where you can sponsor each of my clients either alone or with a group of people in your circles as a collaboration who want to make a direct impact in the lives of these wonderful individuals I am standing in the gap for. At this time sponsorships are not tax deductible as I am not a non profit. The reason is because I run into major restrictions trying to move in that direction. I also do not have enough information to feel comfortable in our current political climate to bring the government into what I am doing. The only way the government is involved is when I am advocating and making myself known as a grassroots self operating ministry, but also paying those lovely high level taxes they hit me with yearly.

These sponsorships cover my fee for meetings, ongoing communication/connection with my clients, and the time spent for follow up with advocacy work. They also help me continue the work I do day in and day out, cover administrative costs, and meet my basic financial needs to remain healthy and strong for my clients. That is such an important factor of what I do. If I am not healthy with a roof over my head and have the maintained resources and tools in good working order I need to coach, then what I am doing becomes obsolete.

The more sponsorships we have, the more resources I have to work with to create more resources and fund the expenses I currently cover out of pocket.

The more sponsors we have, the better rates I can offer to my clients to meet financial goal needs all around.

Two types of sponsorships I am making a flyer for:

Full sponsorship: Sponsors cover the full fee invoiced monthly.
Sliding Scale/Shared: Client shares a portion of the fee with a sponsor invoiced monthly. This is discussed in the client's consult.

Sponsorships have allowed me to work with those on a waiting list who had no one else helping them. No community, no family, and no friends. They are re-entering into society when ready and reconnecting in healthy relationships as just a part of their growth journeys. The reward is phenomenal!

As a coach I have chosen to take the route less traveled. Most coaches work with the wealthy and business owners. They make their bread and butter in that area, but the ones I am working with are falling through the cracks. With my own backstory I will tell in the future, this work is dear to my heart. It consumes the majority of my time on this earth, but is rewarding.

I have assisted close to 100 people in the last few years not counting those who hit my social and email inboxes who are not clients.

Sponsorships are needed on an ongoing basis and it's been the most beautiful relationship and transformative change for my clients with those who are sponsored. Sadly however, sponsorship is my greatest block to the ability to take on clients in these positions.

I used to work pro-bono often and can no longer do that in our economic changes and my own personal life transitions out of my control. My waiting list grows weekly for sponsorships.

These are people with legitimate needs. One income households, single divorced mothers, homeless autistics living in their cars and some going on the streets while the government takes their homes (Yes, I've been in the trenches fighting against this), those in heavy amounts of debt, those living in abusive home situations and domestic violence who get institutionalized when they ask for help. I could go on and on.
